About Us
TGF Forestry & Fire Inc. was founded in 2000. We are based out of Libertyville, Illinois which is located in Lake County, the north east corner of the state. Our midwestern location allows us access to any part of the country in a timely fashion.
Our experienced leadership and team of certified firefighters has performed hundreds of prescribed burns in several states. We pride ourselves in safety and professionalism. Our trained firefighters spend hours attending NWCG wildland fire training as well as a host of land conservation training courses.
We handle all of the following aspects of a prescribed burn
- Planning- Permitting (State EPA and Local)- Burn Plan - Aerial Mapping of Burn Unit- Project Execution- Post Burn ReportTGF Forestry & Fire also provides general forestry related work including invasive buckthorn removal and herbicide. Other services include brush and field mowing, tree trimming/removal and debris removal.
TGF is contracted by the US Forest Service for nationwide response. TGF's recent deployments include the Georgia Honey Prairie fire and Minnesota at Pagami Creek. There crews worked on extinguishing spot fires, backburning and holding the line.
TGF Forestry and Fire was born from our parent company TGF Enterprises, Incorporated.
